Cambridge Core
- Offers a limited number of e-books published by Cambridge University Press. Individual chapters are available in PDF format. Please note that NATO has access to only those e-books with a green icon.
De Gruyter Online
- Offers a limited number of e-books published by De Gruyter and its partner presses (Birkhäuser, Columbia University Press, Harvard University Press, Oldenbourg, Princeton University Press, University of Pennsylvania Press). Individual chapters are available in PDF format. Please note that NATO has access to only those e-books with a green icon.
EBSCO eBooks & Audiobooks
- Offers over 5,000 e-books and 300 audiobooks from academic, university and professional publishers. Most e-books are available in PDF or ePub format, or both.
- How to download an EBSCO audiobook
IET Digital Library
- Offers the e-books published by the Institution of Engineering and Technology and its subsidiary (SciTech). All e-books and individual chapters are available in PDF format. Audiobooks can be downloaded on personal devices using the free EBSCO Audiobooks app.
IOS Press eBooks
- Offers over 1,000 e-books published by IOS Press, including several of NATO’s Science series. All e-books and individual chapters are available in PDF format. Please note that NATO has access to only those e-books with a green download button.
OAPEN
- Offers over 3,000 freely accessible academic e-books, mainly in the area of humanities and social sciences. Most e-books are available in PDF format; some e-books are meant to be read online.
ScienceDirect
- Offers close to 1,000 e-books published by Elsevier and its subsidiaries (Academic Press, Butterworth-Heinemann, Digital Press, Focal Press, Morgan Kaufmann, Newnes, Syngress). Individual chapters are available in PDF format. Please note that NATO has access to only those e-books with a green icon.
Springer Link eBooks
- Offers close to 100,000 e-books (and 5 million journal articles) in 20 subject collections published by Springer Nature and its subsidiaries (Apress, Birkhäuser, Palgrave Macmillan). All e-books and individual chapters are available in PDF format; some e-books are available in ePub format as well.
University Press Scholarship Online
- Offers a limited number of e-books published by Oxford University Press and its partner presses. These e-books are meant to be read online but individual chapters are available in PDF format. Please note that NATO has access to only those e-books with a green icon.
